The health care industry is one of the largest and more dynamic industries in the world translating to an ever-present demand for a highly educated and qualified workforce. • Hospital Organization – students will gain awareness on the administration side of a hospital, identifying key parts that make up the whole system.

• Healthcare Entrepreneurship – as in any investment, risk is involved and this course will help students assess how much risk they can take in their investment as a health care entrepreneur by making business plans evaluating costs and returns.

• Health Law and Regulation – one of the factors affecting the health care system are the laws and regulations that are passed; this course will help students understand the relevant laws as well as their pitfalls and opportunities.

• Health Economics – a study on economic concepts and methods as applicable to the health care system.

• Healthcare Marketing – relating marketing concepts and methods to the health care system.

The Bachelor of Health Systems Management Degree program provides an integrated learning experience geared towards developing professionals who are ready to manage health service systems and public health organizations. Applying concepts on finance, marketing, strategic planning, organizational behavior and law will equip students with a business sense as applicable to the health care environment.
